And my hope is that Canadians will act on those positions and act on that solidarity to contribute towards supporting Palestinian self-determination and independence. And my message to the Canadian people would be not to underestimate what they can do as part of the international community to contributing towards ending Israel's illegal occupation of Palestine and helping the Palestinian people to achieve their rights. And Canada, with Prime Minister Carney at the helm, has positioned itself as a country that will seek to defend the international legal order and preserve it, not allow it to be diminished or dismantled.
